🌈 the honest part

ok real talk, because a table this fun has a couple of catches nobody posts about.

• ⚠️ twist candles DRIP. that is just physics, babe. the spiral shape means wax runs down the grooves, so put something under them — holders with a lip, a tray, anything. do not set them straight on your nice runner and then act surprised.
• ⚠️ mismatched is a decision, not an accident. there is a real difference between “curated mismatch” and “whatever was in the cabinet.” pick two or three colors that repeat around the table. random in every direction just reads messy in photos.
• ⚠️ tinted glass is dimmer than it looks online. colored glassware eats light, so if your dining room is already dark you will want more candles than you think. plan for it.
• ⚠️ measure the runner. boring, i know. but a runner that is too short is the number one reason these get returned. leave a few inches of bare table at each end.
• ⚠️ your grandma might hate it. genuinely. if you are hosting people who expect red-and-green traditional, this table is a whole statement. i think that is the point. just go in knowing.
